The California Institute for Mental Health (CIMH) would like to extend an invitation to key education staff to attend the California Mental Health Policy Forum on September 11, 2008 in Palo Alto, CA. The theme for the September 11, 2008 Policy Forum is "Mental Health and Education: A Partnership for Creating Healthy School Communities." The school population focus is preschool through high school. Public mental health leaders are very interested in having a dialogue to explore how our two systems can better partner to improve the mental health of our children and youth through the opportunity presented by the California Mental Health Services Act (Proposition 63).
