Mental Health Directors Leadership Institute 2008

Program Information

The Leadership Institute is a leadership development program designed to help good leaders become great leaders who are prepared to face the challenges of leading public mental health systems and services. A small group of 35 participants will complete a total of nine days of training.

WHO SHOULD APPLY?

Current California County Mental Health Directors, Deputy Directors and those in management or leadership positions who are preparing to assume executive leadership positions in county mental health or community-based, non-profit agencies that provide public mental health services. Mental Health Directors are particularly encouraged to consider the candidacy of individuals with backgrounds reflecting the diversity of our communities and those with lived experience as mental health clients or parents or family members of individuals with psychiatric disabilities.  Your County Mental Health Director must recommend your application.

REGISTRATION FEE:

$3,858.00 for the initial three-day Residential Session and three (3) two-day follow-up modules of training. Travel and overnight room accommodations not included.  See the linked brochure for registration/application information.
